Curtin Chorus

Curtin Chorus performed this past Tuesday evening in front of a packed house in the auditorium. A fine permance by all! It certainly put everyone into the festive season hearing the wide arrange of music performed. Nice job everyone!

It was so crowded in the auditorium students actually sat in the hallway to enjoy the smooth tunes of our chorus. Thanks for coming to support your classmates.

AGC Band Concert

Last week Mr. Henry conducted the AGC Band for our Winter Concert at Curtin. The bands sounded great and played some groovey tunes to get everyone in the spirit. It was a well attended event. We would like to thank Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Logue for putting out the treats following all of our music performances.

Do you still or remember when...

Do you remember licking the batter from the mixer while your mother or grandmother was baking? My daughter Mallory seems to be really enjoying the chocolate cake batter.

Mr. Z Dress Alike Contest!

Check out Mr. Z and his good friend Taron. It wasn't even "Twins Day" at Curtin. Mr. Z has a strong following of students who think he is the "cat's meow."

Snowbiz!

I had the opportunity to watch two performances of Snowbiz this past weekend. It was a show put on by the Round Hills Theatre Club. The cast and directors (Mr. Cioffi, Mrs. Richards, and Mrs. Mesaris) did a fantastic job. Professor Snow-It-All was played by my son Connor.

Around the Town of AGC

My friend George is working on a lesson in 7th grade social studies. He is studying teh Neolithic City of Catal Huyuk. You should here him pronounce it for Mrs. Vogt!

Check out the ceiling tiles in Mr. Kaufman's class that students did in his art class. They used pastel colors to brighten up the place. Pretty cool!

Dare Devil Passes Away

Mr. Z's hero, Evel Kneivel passed away this past week. This guy was crazy! He would jump buses on his motorcycle. He once even jumped over the Grand Canyon or something on a motorcycle or jet rocket. I think Mr. Z had a lunchbox with him on it in elementary school or something?

Orchestra Concert

The Curtin Orchestra had their concert last evening. I was very impressed by their performance. The music selection and confidence they played with was outstanding. Thanks to Mr. Radspinner for preparing our students.
