Keystone Technology at Bucknell

I was at Bucknell University yesterday participating in a principal's workshop for technology. It is a beautiful campus. It was good to get back down to BU. This is where I earned my master's degree in order to become a principal. It has been a while since I visited the campus. I learned some pretty cool things. Mr. Bartholomew was there too as a Keystone Technology Integrator Award recipient. Congrats to Mr. B.

Mr. Zangara remembers where he started in the Williamsport Area School District at the Governor's Institute in Bloomsburg. We wish him the best of luck at the high school this coming school year.

Cutters Continue Streak

My family went to the Crosscutters game last night. Extra inning game. We left at the end of the 10th inning, we should have stayed to see the win. Tonight it is $1 hot dog night. Wonder if Joey Chestnut will show up to defend his title? Go Cutters!

Gas Rig Tour

I was able to take a tour of a local gas rig this past Friday. Pretty cool! It was the first time that I was able to visit such an operation. I kept hearing about the gas explosion in our area but wanted to see what it was for myself. They even let me wear a hardhat. You have to protect your noodle.

Second Street Block Party and CAPPA Basketball

I was able to get out last evening to swing by Second Street to take part in the Block Party. There was great music and food available for all. It is great to see our neighborhoods getting together to socialize and enjoy each others company. CAPPA Basketball is in full swing at Flannigan Park. It was great to see some our current and former students and catching up.

I played golf last Friday with Mr. Zangara and Mr. Poole in the YMCA Tournament. We placed second in our flight with a -12 score. The bonus to the day was winning the 50-50 raffle. I wasn't even close to the longest drive, however, Mr. Poole helped me improve my game with a different grip.

I Survived Disney in June

I know it has been a long time since I have blogged but Mr. Poole and I have been busy getting the website up an running and preparing for the upcoming school year. He recently just got back from England.
