A Legend Passes

A sad day yesterday for the Steeler Nation as Myron Cope passed away. He was the long time radio commentator for the Steelers. He was also the inventor of the infamous Terrible Towel. I loved listening to him on the radio with his squeeky voice and names he made up for players.

Curtin Making the Grade Article

Did anyone read the "Making the Grade" article in the Sun-Gazette this past Monday in the Education section? I think Heatch Gach did a great job reporting on our school. If you missed it you can check it out on our webpage.

AGC Pep Rally Incentive

Check out "The Governor" - Mr. Paulhamus!

The Curtin Community rewarded students who have been working hard to make our school successful by hosting a pep rally for our basketball players before their last game of the season against Roosevelt. We had the Curtin Dancers perform as well as faculty vs. student basketball game. Need I say who won those games. Mr. Decker MC'd the events. Curtin may have found a new mascot in Mr. Paulhamus as "The Governor."

Check out Mr. Z in the background getting ready to "bust a move."

AGC Curtin After School Tailgate

Check out the tailgate gathering before the Curtin v. Roosevelt hoop game. Students were able to come after school and play in the gym, grab a bite to eat, and catch a ride to the Magic Dome to take in the game!

Super Bowl 42!

Well, who do you like for this year's Super Bowl? I think the Pats have a good shot at winning it all, but hope the Giants can knock them off. I usually route for the underdog or who ever is playing agains the Steelers.
