The Ohio State University
I was at The Ohio State University the last two days learning about balanced literacy. It is important for everyone to know that Mr. Fausnaught over in Loyalsock is a huge Ohio State fan. He text me while I was out there requesting a new hoodie to sport. He also wanted me to sneak in the the Horseshoe to try and get him some OSU turf for his Big Ten turf collection. Keep routing for the Buckeyes Mr. Faus, we all know how big a fan you are!

Girls Basketball Starts with Success!
The Lady Governors have started off the season with much success. The 8th grade team are undefeated to this date. I watched a great game this past Saturday as the girls battled back from a 10 point deficit to win the game. I was proud of our team as they never gave up and played some tenacious defensive to get back in the game. I am looking forward to our girls playing Loyalsock. Look out Mr. Fausnaught, here come the Governors!

Happenings at AGC!
The Lady Governors are off to a great start to their basketball season. The 8th grade girls are 2-0 and the 7th grade girls are 1-1 after two games. Our annual Chicken and Biscuit Dinner was a huge success this year. We sold nearly 600 dinners. We had our student music groups playing and staff working behind the scenes to make this event a huge success. We would like to especially think Mrs. Bresticker and Mrs. Feinstein for coordinating this event!

Our 7th grade student went on a field trip to Downtown Williamsport to visit the mural being painted near Woodlands Bank. They met with mural creator, Michael Pilato, who gave them dome insight to his artistry. It was a "green" field trip, meaning our students walked to the mural. Nice work 7th grade team!
