Congrats to our Junior Rotarians for this school year. Hannah Maddy and Andrew McMahon Mr. Zangara and Mrs. Wagner to these two students to the Acacia Club for the lunch and ceremony sponsored by the Williamsport Rotarians. Thanks to these students for representing AGC so well.
Diversity Day was held at Curtin due to the poor weather outside, moved from Brandon Park. We were happy to accomodate such a great community event. The crowd was happy with what we were able to offer at AGC. Backyard Bouncin' had their jump toys in the gymnasium. Musical and drama acts took place in the auditorium along with the flag parade. The cafeteria housed the food for all to enjoy. The student work was on display throughout our hallways.
Mr. Decker was in full character as he read exerpts from Romeo and Juliet with his 8th grade students. He was Juliet! The wig was a nice touch and dead giveaway.
Mr. Greevy represented the Williamsport Education Foundation and AGC at this public art dedication ceremony at Round Hills this past week. He said, "the Foundation was happy to fund a project such as this because it brings so many smiles to the faces of all involved."
