Disney Bound!
The Pardoe family heads to Orlando, Florida on Saturday to spend the week at Disney. My daughter, Mallory, 5, is getting pretty excited for the trip. My boys are too. They aren't very excited about flying there though. Hopefully the weather cooperates as we make every attempt to tackle many activities and visits during the 6 day stay. My wife and I will need to come home to rest. Looking forward to the trip.

I just wanted to thank Dr. Miller for coming to our 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony today as our Keynote Speaker. His message was loud and clear. Your future is up to you. Be sure to focus on communication, doing better for others, and preparation. I was proud to be a Lock Haven University alumnus today. Dr. Miller was impressed with our students and ceremony.

8th Graders get ready for 2 Million Minutes
8th grade students participate in our annual Recognition Day ceremony. Dr. Keith Miller, President of Lock Haven University, my alma mater, will be our keynote speaker. He is going to discuss the 2 million minutes that our 8th graders begin as ninth grade students in high school. 2 million minutes is equivalent to four years. How will you spend your 2 million minutes at WAHS? Looking forward to the ceremony today.
