My oldest son just celebrated his tenth birthday last weekend. It is amazing how time flies when you reach adult life. He wanted an ipod for his birthday. My wife and I consider this to be a luxury item which we always encourage our kids to save their own money to purchase something like this for themselves. My son did just that with is birthday money. We ordered it last night. Hopefully he can show me some tricks to using this as a technological tool. I can remember when the cassestte walkman was the big rave! Ask you parents about that one.
