A Christmas Carol - Reader's Theater
7th grade students from Ms. Marriott's language arts class did a reader's theater retelling of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. The rest of the 7th grade enjoyed the performance.
Actually students volunteered from both language arts teachers' classrooms. Other students created the characters' pictures. During the holiday workshop students prepared for the play, made the pictures, studied greenery, made a wreath, constructed gingerbread houses, and made a Kwanzaa quilt.
Actually there were students from both Miss Marriott and Miss Datres' classes who volunteered to be part of Readers' Theatre. Other students created the pictures of the characters.
